Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient care settings and formulate customized treatment strategies
• Deliver physical therapy interventions geared toward enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional abilities
• Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to ensure optimal care outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic goals, discharge protocols, and home exercise routines
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress following facility and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to aid in seamless care coordination

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is highly desirable
