We are looking for a detail-oriented Bank Utility Clerk to join a banking team in a contract-to-permanent role. In this role, you will help keep daily branch and operations activities organized by supporting transaction processing, record accuracy, account updates, and client service needs. This position is well suited for someone with prior banking experience who values precision, strong service, and dependable support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Handle a range of everyday banking activities such as accepting deposits, processing withdrawals, applying loan payments, completing wire requests, cashing checks, and assisting with safe deposit access.
• Update account information and support new account setup while ensuring records are complete, accurate, and aligned with established banking procedures.
• Reconcile cash activity by balancing assigned drawers, reviewing totals, and helping confirm that daily reports are accurate.
• Assist internal teams with operational and clerical support, including entering data, locating documents, responding to research requests, and preparing routine forms or correspondence.
• Deliver attentive service to customers by answering questions, addressing routine needs, and providing timely support during branch interactions.
• Protect sensitive financial and personal information by following security protocols, confidentiality standards, and regulatory requirements at all times.
• Contribute to smooth branch operations by helping with general administrative tasks and participating in additional assignments or special projects as needed.• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in banking or teller-related work is required.
• Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with banking procedures, transaction processing, and standard office software such as Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience serving in a senior teller or lead support capacity is preferred.
• Bilingual English and Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Availability to work a permanent schedule, including Saturdays when needed.
