Registered Nurse - Medical Neuro Unit/Neuro ICU - Nights

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: Registered Nurse - Inpatient Medical Neuro Unit and Neuro ICU- This position will work on both units depending on the need. Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL Full Time, 36 hours/week Hours: 6:00am - 6:30pm and 7:00am - 7:30pm, Every other weekend required Required Travel: No What you will do: Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers. Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate. Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing. Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs. Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives. Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations. What you will need: Successful completion of an Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association ACLS certification within 3 months of hire Benefits (For full time or part time positions): Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
