Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Role Performs therapeutic and diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring quality imaging for accurate interpretation. Responsibilities Operates cameras to detect and map radioactive substances, positions patients, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals following protocols, maintains radiation safety, and ensures high-quality images are submitted promptly. Maintains equipment functionality, reports issues, and supports department cleanliness and safety. Qualifications Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program. No prior experience required. Must hold relevant certifications such as CNMT or ARRT-N, and BLS. Physical requirements include constant standing, lifting, and movement, with the ability to distinguish colors and operate equipment safely. Skills Attention to detail, technical proficiency, safety awareness, patient care, and equipment maintenance.
