Nuclear Medicine Technologist - PRN

Overview Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services and is known for outstanding patient care. The facility features 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms. The Department of Nuclear Medicine is a full‑service department that delivers diagnostic imaging services. Role Purpose Performs nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures and quality control. Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently; in on‑call situations, portable exams, and at other sites as required. Minimum Requirements Education: Associate or trade school equivalency. Experience: None required. Supervisor Experience: None required. Licenses & Certifications: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technician, IEMA (Illinois only, excludes MRI), R.T.(N)/CNMT. Preferred Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine. Experience: Minimum 2 years in nuclear medicine. Licenses & Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
