Position: Phlebotomist II - 1st Shift
Location: NY_GYP_667 Stoneleigh Ave, Carmel NY 10512
Shift: M-F: 7am-3:30pm
Duration: 3 months contract with a possibility of conversion into permanent

Job Description:
Patient Services Representative II (PSR II)
Collect blood samples (phlebotomy) including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following standard procedures
Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling and documentation
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional patient service environment
Explain procedures to patients and provide a reassuring experience
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and confidentiality standards
Handle high-volume workload with accuracy and attention to detail
Work independently and across multiple locations as needed
Provide strong customer service and effective communication with patients and staff
Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties
Required: High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification/training preferred
Experience: 3+ years phlebotomy experience preferred, including patient service center exposure
