We are seeking a Senior Legal Operations Specialist to help build a more modern, efficient, and technology-enabled Legal function at Broadridge. This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who can identify opportunities to improve how the Legal team operates and drive solutions from strategy through execution.Reporting to the Head of Legal Strategy & Operations, this role will help advance Legal Operations by improving workflows, strengthening reporting and business intelligence, and embedding AI and automation across legal processes. The Senior Legal Operations Specialist will support the Legal team in implementing technology solutions, optimizing workflows, and enhancing the operational infrastructure that supports Legal and Compliance. This role will also support Broadridge’s broader compliance and governance programs.The ideal candidate is equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing tactically. They can assess current-state operations, derive insights from legal technology platforms, make practical recommendations, and implement improvements that increase efficiency, visibility, and consistency. This person will work closely with stakeholders across Legal, IT, Finance, Sales, Compliance, Procurement, and other business teams.ResponsibilitiesLegal Operations Strategy & Process ImprovementAssess legal processes, tools, and workflows to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvementRecommend and implement scalable solutions that improve service delivery, consistency, visibility, and operational maturityDrive legal operations initiatives from strategy through execution, including process design, implementation, change management, training, and adoptionImprove and standardize workflows through automation, templates, playbooks, and process redesignAI, Automation & Legal TechnologyHelp build an AI- and technology-forward legal operations practice by embedding AI and automation into Legal workflowsLead implementation of legal technology and AI-enabled solutions from requirements gathering through rollout and optimizationEvaluate practical uses for AI across legal intake, contract review, summarization, workflow routing, reporting, and knowledge managementAdminister and optimize the legal technology stack, including e-billing, matter management, workflow, intake, repository, e-signature, and AI-enabled toolsPartner with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to support system enhancements, adoption, and process optimizationServe as a key support resource for legal and compliance workflow platforms, including workflow administration, templates, dashboards, reporting, and user supportData, Reporting & Business IntelligenceExtract, analyze, and interpret data from legal technology platforms to generate business intelligence and operational insightsBuild and maintain dashboards, KPI reporting, and metrics across contracts, matters, turnaround times, spend, intake, and process performanceUse data-driven insights to improve workflows, inform new process design, and support business decision-makingPresent metrics, trends, and recommendations to Legal leadership and cross-functional stakeholdersFinancial Operations, e-Billing & Vendor ManagementSupport legal budgeting, spend tracking, financial reporting, and forecastingReview and audit outside counsel and vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with billing guidelinesMonitor e-billing systems for billing guideline violations, invoice discrepancies, and compliance exceptions, and coordinate follow-upSupport outside counsel and vendor management, including onboarding, records, engagement documentation, and operational coordinationCompliance, Privacy & Governance SupportSupport policy, risk, and compliance administration by coordinating policy workflows, tracking reviews and approvals, maintaining logs and supporting documentation, and monitoring remediation itemsSupport compliance documentation, reporting, evidence gathering, workflow tracking, and issue management across Legal and Compliance operationsProvide operational support for compliance activities and Broadridge’s compliance program/GRC platforms, policy management tools, or compliance tracking systemsQualifications5–8+ years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, compliance operations, contract operations, legal project management, or a related functionExperience implementing or administering legal technology platforms such as matter management, e-billing, intake, workflow, repository, or e-signature toolsStrong ability to analyze system data and translate it into reporting, business intelligence, and operational recommendationsExperience building dashboards, KPIs, metrics, or reporting for legal, compliance, or business stakeholdersExperience with spend management, e-billing, invoice review, outside counsel management, vendor operations, or budgeting supportExposure to privacy compliance, privacy operations, or privacy program support activitiesStrong process improvement, workflow design, and implementation skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and OutlookPreferred QualificationsExperience with AI adoption, workflow automation, or legal technology transformation initiativesExperience with legal analytics, dashboarding, or business intelligence toolsExperience with ServiceNow, AuditBoard, SharePoint, DocuSign, iManage, NetDocuments, or similar platformsBachelor’s degree, operations experience, project management training, or equivalent practical experience preferredCompensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $130,000.Bonus Eligibility: Bonus EligibleBroadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.Benefits Information: Please visit for more information on our comprehensive benefit offerings.All Colorado employees receive paid sick leave in compliance with the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act and other legally required benefits, as applicable.
