Security Officer Armed Driver Authorization Location: Boca Raton, FL Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points to help manage authorized access for residents, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors within the residential location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community, common areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, property concerns, and/or security-related issues. Assist with visitor check‑in, resident verification, and vehicle access procedures while maintaining professional communication and following post orders. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required. An armed guard card & unarmed guard card is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
