Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour Job Schedule Friday: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM Saturday: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM Sunday: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential issues. Monitor access points and help manage the flow of visitors, vendors, and staff in accordance with location protocols and assigned post instructions. Support hospital and clinic operations by assisting with routine requests, answering questions, and communicating with staff during security‑related incidents and/or operational disruptions. Minimum Requirements Must be able to comply with hospital vaccine requirements. Must be able to work in a hospital environment that may include morgue areas. Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
