Maintenance Supervisor - Nights

Maintenance Supervisor - Nights Coordinates the day‑to‑day activities of maintenance workers to ensure that production equipment, machinery, or instruments function reliably and safely, and that facilities, buildings, and plants are in good working order. Monitors workers responsible for maintenance of production equipment and related systems, assists with root‑cause analysis of equipment failures, and implements fixes. Responsibilities Oversee maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, and packaging equipment. Oversee activities of the maintenance department and review and approve preventative maintenance documents. Solve scheduling and manage preventative maintenance activities. Build a world‑class mechanical and preventative maintenance team that maintains equipment in excellent condition, ensures high line efficiencies, and keeps proper stock of parts. Oversee outside contractors performing installations and projects at the facility. Interface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met. Hire, train, coach, and review performance of employees; work with HR on discipline issues, terminations, and recruitment. Oversee safety team activities and enforce safety requirements. Build a positive work environment. Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. Suggest changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase shop and department efficiencies. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems. Maintain time and maintenance records. Develop capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times. Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials. Maintain a clean work environment. Regular and predictable attendance is essential. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment. 4 years of experience in a position similar to this one. 4 years of experience in managing people/projects. Required to lift items up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. Preferred Qualifications: 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment. 6 years of experience in a position similar to this one. 6 years of experience in managing people/projects. Education Minimum Required: Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
