Our client is a well-established organization within the design and construction space, seeking a skilled Business Support Lead to oversee operational support functions and help ensure efficient day-to-day business operations.

Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring a Business Suport Lead on behalf of our client. This position will provide leadership and coordination across support services, ensuring teams have the resources, processes, and communication needed to operate effectively. The ideal candidate is an organized, solutions-oriented professional who can manage competing priorities while partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day support service activities to maintain efficient operations.
• Oversee workflows, priorities, and service requests while ensuring timely follow-through.
• Partner with internal departments to identify operational needs and implement effective solutions.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for support-related questions, issues, and escalations.
• Monitor service performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain procedures, documentation, and operational guidelines.
• Help establish priorities and allocate resources based on business needs.
• Collaborate with leadership to address challenges and support organizational goals.
• Track key service metrics and provide updates or recommendations to management.
• Assist with training, coaching, and development of support team members.
• Promote consistent service standards and a positive experience for internal and external partners.
• Support special projects and process-improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in support services, operations, facilities, project coordination, or a related field.
• Previous experience leading or supervising teams is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and develop practical solutions.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency with standard business software and technology platforms.
• Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment.
• Experience within the construction, design, furniture, manufacturing, or related industries is a plus.
