With no weekend or holiday shifts required, this position provides a balanced work-life schedule in a supportive and innovative setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the EP Lab, focusing on electrophysiology and cardiac procedures.
• Perform and assist in procedures such as cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and pacemaker insertion.
• Administer and monitor medications including antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and emergency medications.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control through proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
• Manage vascular lines, including central line insertion and maintenance, PICC lines, and implanted ports.
• Conduct patient monitoring, including procedural sedation and obtaining 12 Lead EKG/ECG.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care and positive outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, with at least 1 year in a travel or EP Lab setting.
• Current NY State RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Proficiency in electrophysiology lab procedures and cardiac care.
• Strong skills in vascular and line management, medication administration, and patient monitoring.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
