Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with Cardiac Cath Lab and Neuro Intervention experience to support a diverse patient population.

Details

• Cath Lab unit supporting cardiac and neuro interventional radiology cases
• 5x8 hour day shifts, start times between 6-8 AM dependent on scheduled cases
• On-call required on a 7 days on/7 days off rotation
• Circulating experience required
• Supports STEMI cases, vascular emergencies, pacemaker insertions, Impella insertions, and balloon pump insertions

Requirements

• MRT, RCIS, or CVT required; ARRT preferred
• CPR certification required
• Associate's degree in applied science from an accredited radiology or cardiovascular technology program required
• Minimum 1 year of hospital-based acute care experience required
• Cardiac Cath Lab and Neuro Intervention experience required
• IR experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must include one supervisory reference for consideration

Additional Information

• Reports to the Cath Lab supervisor and works under the guidance of the catheterization laboratory technologist
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for cardiac and interventional radiology cases across a diverse patient population
• Serves a high Spanish-speaking patient population with translator staff available for support
• First-time travelers accepted
• Accepts local candidates within a 50-mile radius at the local bill rate
• Completion of required modules (approximately 4-8 hours) prior to start is expected
