Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment (CFA) - Pathology, Anatomical

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, ranked No. 1 nationwide for cancer care, seeks a full-time Head and Neck Pathologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to join a world-renowned team in the Department of Anatomical Pathology. Applicants should have completed a minimum one-year fellowship training in Head and Neck pathology. Responsibilities Participate in the routine sign‑out activities of a high volume of oncology specimens. Perform general and frozen sections and attend multidisciplinary clinical conferences. Provide equitable call coverage. Contribute to education, clinical/translational research, and clinical‑trial collaborative research. Maintain security and integrity of critical infrastructure as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, including routine reviews and screening. Qualifications Board certification (or eligibility within departmental timeline) in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology. Active Texas medical license or eligibility. MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree in a field appropriate to the department mission. Completion of a minimum one‑year fellowship in Head and Neck pathology. Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Benefits Medical, dental, and paid time off. Retirement plan.
