Electromechanical Field Service Technician

Immediate hiring need for a skilled Electromechanical Field Service Technician for a full-time position with a generous benefits package. Expected salary range is $80-85K in the first year.

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Electromechanical Field Service Technician to join our expanding team. Our company leads in yield, efficiency, and safety across various industries including packaging and sortation. We are looking for someone passionate about repairing and maintaining industrial equipment at customer sites. This role offers nationwide travel and growth opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair mechanical and electronic equipment at various customer sites, manufacturing facilities, and sales offices.
• Utilize hand tools and test equipment such as multimeters to perform work.
• Requires knowledge of equipment specifications.
• Discuss with engineering problems relating to maintenance or operation of equipment.
• Field train customers.
• Perform in-house phone troubleshooting support to customers.
• Support sales for product demonstrations.
• Provide a range of known solutions to problems.
• Innovate on the fly to resolve new and unique problems.
• May be required to provide after-hours phone troubleshooting support.
• Exciting opportunity to travel extensively nationwide as part of the role.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

• Able to work with minimal direct supervision.
• Organizational skills
• Microsoft Outlook and Excel knowledge
• Expert knowledge of supplied machinery
• Ability to accurately and effectively communicate problems and suggest possible solutions
• Will require travel up to 100% of the time. Normally one week out, sometimes up to two weeks out
