Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ER RN for a 13-week night shift assignment providing high-quality emergency care. The candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient services in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival, conducting thorough triage procedures.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and swiftly respond to changes in clinical status.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Comply with facility, state, and federal regulations, including safety protocols and infection control.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid MO RN license and required certifications including BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with emergency procedures and trauma protocols.
• Be willing to float to other units based on census and acuity.
• Able to care for COVID-positive patients and provide documentation if health conditions affect this ability.
• Be capable of passing drug screenings and background checks as required.
