Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) w/BONUS - 5005

Position Overview We have an urgent need for a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at the Naval Medical Center at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC. Sign‑on Bonus: $5,000 payable with first paycheck! Responsibilities Coordinate appropriate referrals to community and other government agencies for services. Assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their families; formulate and implement a treatment plan in collaboration with the patient, family and interdisciplinary treatment team. Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide psychosocial treatment to a wide variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds. Use medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities and treatment procedures, including acute, chronic and traumatic illnesses or injuries, common medications and their effects, and medical terminology. Implement treatment modalities with individuals, families and groups experiencing psychiatric, medical and social problems to achieve treatment goals. Provide counseling and/or psychotherapy services to individuals, groups, couples and families within the bounds of license or certification. Provide consultation services to other staff regarding the psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of psychosocial problems on health care and treatment compliance. Participate in professional peer review case conferences, research studies, or other organization‑required activities at the facility. Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 8.5‑10.5 hours between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm with a 30‑minute lunch. Not to exceed 40 hrs/week. No weekends, no holidays. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited School of Social Work (CSWE). At least one year of post‑graduate experience within the last three years as a social worker. Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from any state. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) healthcare provider certification. Ability to pass a Government background check and secure a security clearance. Benefits & Compensation Base salary: $41.00 – $43.50 per hour as a W2 employee, or $62.00 per hour ($128,960) as a 1099 contractor. Paid vacation, paid sick time, and 11 paid federal holidays.
