Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 6-Week Assignment | 48 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Coronary Care Unit (CCU) with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices
• Perform and assist with procedures such as heart catheterizations, cardioversions, central line management, and medication drips
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care technicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification (must be included in submission packet)
• Current ACLS certification (must be included in submission packet)
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be included in submission packet)
• No requested time off (RTO) or special scheduling requirements; full availability for the duration of the assignment is required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous travel nursing experience in a large facility ICU setting
