CNC Setup Machinist First Shift

Job Description Job Description Responsibilities * Independently set up and operate CNC Vertical Machining Centers * Read and interpret blueprints and job travelers * Perform first article and in-process inspections * Make tooling and offset adjustments during production * Maintain quality and dimensional tolerances * Follow production schedules and communicate issues proactively * Track setup and run times accurately in the system * Maintain organized work area and tooling Successful candidates will: * Run jobs independently from setup through completion * Maintain quality with minimal scrap or rework * Meet production schedules and setup expectations * Contribute positively to shop workflow and culture We are looking for machinists who: * Take ownership of their work * Show up consistently and on time * Can think through setups and machining challenges * Want long-term growth opportunities in a stable company Company Description Bay Machining & Sales, Inc. is a growing High Mix-Low Volume Job CNC machine shop specializing in custom support tooling, precision machining, and repair work, for a variety of industrial clients.
