Job Title: Forklift Operator – 3rd Shift (Sit-Down Propane)

Location: Franklin Park, IL (On-site)

Job Type: Full-time, Contract-to-Hire

Shift: 3rd Shift (Overnight)

Starting Pay: $19.00/hour

Conversion Pay: $24.00/hour ($5.00/hr raise upon permanent hire!)

What You Will Do Day-to-Day

You will keep our warehouse moving smoothly by transporting finished goods from the production lines straight to storage and freight trucks.

• Forklift Operation: Safely drive propane sit-down lift trucks in a fast-paced environment.
• Tech-Driven Tracking: Use RF scanners to log inventory, shipping, and receiving data accurately.
• Labeling & Verification: Create and apply production labels while double-checking precise piece counts.
• Quality Inspection: Visually inspect finished products for defects before staging them for transport.
• Production Support: Keep lines clear of debris and clutter to eliminate manufacturing bottlenecks.
• Warehouse Precision: Stack and organize product rows perfectly, maintaining proper 2-to-4-inch spacing.

• Proven experience operating propane sit-down forklifts .
• Comfortable working a consistent 3rd shift (overnight) schedule.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and basic warehouse inventory tracking.
• Strong attention to detail (spotting defects, reading labels, exact spacing).
• Reliable, safety-first mindset with excellent punctuality.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
