Investment Banker for AI Research Project

Provide investment banking expertise to a research project at a leading foundational model AI lab, delivering high-quality financial and strategic analysis on a remote, hourly basis. Work will support research objectives through preparation of models, decks, and written investment materials.

• Prepare detailed financial models and valuations as requested.
• Create investor-facing pitch decks and presentation materials.
• Draft investment summaries, analysis memos, and written recommendations.
• Conduct company and industry analysis to inform research outputs.
• Deliver work on an hourly basis to meet project timelines and researcher needs.

• At least 2 years of experience working at top firms in investment banking.
• Proven experience in at least one of the following areas: financial modeling, pitch decks, investment or analysis summaries and memos, or company and industry analysis.

• Remote role, hourly engagement.
• Minimum commitment of at least 10 hours per week.
• Minimum engagement length of four weeks, with potential for significant extension or rotation to similar future projects.
• Successful contributions increase likelihood of selection for future projects.

• $100 to $130 per hour, with potential for rate increases for top performers.

• Candidates must be based in one of the following regions: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, or Australia.
