Job Title: Radiation Therapist (ARRT) Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our clinical oncology team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the precise delivery of quality patient care through therapeutic radiation treatments. You will perform treatment simulations, fabricate necessary shielding blocks, and maintain meticulous electronic medical records (EMR). Our clinic prioritizes patient safety and operational excellence; therefore, we are looking for a dedicated professional who maintains exceptional dependability and a consistent work schedule to minimize disruptions to patient care timelines. Key Responsibilities Treatment Delivery: Safely and accurately administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with oncology protocols and nationally accepted standards of practice. Simulation & Setup: Perform precise treatment simulations and fabricate all required patient-specific shielding blocks. Quality Assurance: Prepare advanced clinical equipment for daily patient treatments, performing required quality control and assurance testing. Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to optimal radiation safety, protection practices, and proper infection control techniques to maintain an environmentally safe clinical workspace. Clinical Documentation: Maintain highly accurate, clear, and timely patient records within the electronic medical records (EMR) platform. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Maintain strong, professional working relationships with the oncology medical staff and broader healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care. Candidate Requirements & Qualifications Experience & Technical Skills Clinical Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of dedicated Radiation Therapist experience [Required]. Contract/Platform Expertise: Minimum of 1 year of travel experience OR hands‑on post-graduation work experience utilizing Varian and ARIA platforms [Required]. Preferred Technology: Prior experience working with TrueBeam, ARIA, and Trilogy software/hardware configurations is [Highly Preferred]. Licensure & Certifications Core Registration: Active registration as a Radiation Therapist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists—ARRT (T) [Required]. Life Support: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required]. Professional Scheduling Notice Attendance Excellence: To maximize stability and outcomes for our oncology patient population, this facility maintains an active and strict attendance policy regarding unscheduled absences or reporting late for scheduled shifts.
