Position Overview

We are seeking a highly technical, systems-oriented Senior Product Manager for Developer Ecosystems to architect and lead our cross-functional platform extensibility vision. In this high-leverage product track, you will help design our foundational developer platform from the ground floor up, defining how external partners, third-party developers, and autonomous AI systems interface with our core application. Reporting into leadership and collaborating closely with our Corporate Partnerships team, you will establish our absolute build-versus-partner product blueprints and own our cutting-edge Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectivity map.

Key Responsibilities

• Ecosystem Strategy & Vision: Formulate our long-term developer framework, identifying target developer personas and setting standard rules for when to build software in-house vs. enabling third-party platform plug-ins.
• Partner & Integration Experience: Manage our full integration portfolio end-to-end, optimizing first-party accounting or retail syncs (such as Shopify and QuickBooks) while upgrading our public developer portal tools.
• MCP & AI Agent Connectivity: Design and own our Model Context Protocol (MCP) strategy, explicitly determining what schemas and tools to expose so external AI agents can cleanly interact with Boulevard on behalf of clients.
• Ecosystem Metric Tracking: Define core platform success KPIs, tracking developer onboarding adoption velocity, runtime API call usage rates, and partner-driven merchant revenue contributions.
• Cross-Functional Roadmapping: Partner tightly alongside Business Development teams to balance code development priorities, navigate integration tradeoffs, and author scalable data framework specifications.
• Executive Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical tradeoffs, API monetization paradigms, and system extensibility updates clearly to executive leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of verified professional history in Product Management, with substantial time dedicated to owning developer-facing infrastructure products (such as APIs, developer portals, or SDK layers).
• Demonstrated depth scaling open software ecosystems, with a clear point of view on partner sequencing and API monetization evolution.
• Proven capacity to author meticulous product requirement documents (PRDs) detailing REST API designs, webhook tracking systems, and automated authentication workflows.
• Outstanding technical communication mechanics, with the capacity to speak fluidly with backend architecture engineers without needing translations.
• First-principles thinker who thrives when structuring ambiguous, greenfield platform projects from scratch.
• Location Context: 100% remote-first operational infrastructure flexibility open to qualified platform managers permanently based anywhere within the United States .

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

• Prior experience steering multi-tenant B2B data systems, business-to-business market hubs, or vertical SaaS platforms within the services industry.
• Hands-on operational fluency leveraging generative AI tools natively inside your daily product practice to accelerate competitor analysis or chart data structures.

What We Offer

• Targeted Annual Base Salary: $148,000 – $200,500 USD per annum for standard U.S. locations (Calibrated between $163,000 – $221,000 USD for NYC, SF Bay Area, and Seattle talent), eligible for variable compensation program access.
