What You'll Do:
- Provide OB/GYN hospitalist coverage, including emergencies and C-sections
- Collaborate with OR team, maintaining readiness for urgent procedures
- Manage patient care on the hospital unit during 24-hour shifts
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and protocols
- Maintain thorough documentation of patient encounters
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff and patients
What You Need:
- Valid Kentucky medical license
- Prior OB/GYN hospitalist experience preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently during 24-hour shifts
- Background clear of issues
About the Assignment:
This role involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care at a busy hospital in Somerset, KY. The hospital features two operating rooms dedicated to C-sections and emergencies, requiring a provider capable of managing complex obstetric situations and emergencies efficiently. Candidates must drive into the location; no airfare is provided.
