Staff Accountant

DLZ Corporation currently has an exciting Staff Accountant opening in South Bend, Indiana.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Review and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Bank reconciliation and review.
Timesheet processing and administration.
Accounts receivable and accounts payable processing.
Project maintenance and accounting.
Work with project managers to prepare and process contract billings.
Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan.
Possess aptitude to act as a positive representative of the company and its core values.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
0-2 years Accounting experience (internships or co-op experience considered).
Project accounting and client invoicing experience desired.
Construction industry / project costing background a plus.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be flexible and have a positive attitude that works well in a team environment.
