This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can quickly step in to support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounting operations, and assisting with process improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger activityPerform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesAssist with month-end and year-end close processesSupport preparation of financial statements and management reportsAnalyze financial data and identify variances or trendsAssist with audit support and documentation requestsEnsure compliance with accounting policies and proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting operationsParticipate in process improvement initiatives and ad hoc projectsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field4+ years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and accounting principlesExperience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsCPA or CPA-track preferred but not required#GHJSS #LI-LM1We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
