Obtains necessary personal and medical information from physician office on the patient for use in authorization. Performs computer data entry and other record keeping tasks related to authorization of patients’ treatment.Department: Patient Access ServicesLocation: Englewood, NJ Status: Full Time Shift: EveningsHours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am -7:30pmJob Essentials: Excellent interpersonal and communications skillsAbility to function independentlyClerical, data entry and some typing skills including: Filing and record keepingAbility to work in fast-paced environmentFlexible and able to pay close attention to detailsAbility to complete needed tasks with speed accuracyOne or more years of related insurance experience in health care facility or physician office preferredEducation Requirements:Completion of high school or equivalent education or minimum 5 years’ experience in related field.Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.Minimum rate: $17.00
