EEG Technician - Day Shift, Patient-Centered

EEG Technician – Full Time Days Responsible for performing Electroencephalographic exams. Performs other tasks as instructed by Director. Performs all tasks with a service-minded culture to provide exceptional patient and customer care; helps reduce patients’ or customers’ fear and anxiety by providing clear communication on services and expectations of the test. Qualifications Education Requirements: High School degree or equivalent; Completion of EEG training from an educational institution on EEG application; registry eligible Experience: 1 year; 3 preferred Skills: Basic PC knowledge and Medical Terminology; must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department. License / Certification: Current BLS Certification; currently registered or registry eligible with ABRET (American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists) within 2 years of hire. Travel Requirements: May travel between Alan B Miller Medical Center and Wellington Regional Medical Center to assist with coverage when directed by Cardiopulmonary Director.
