Interdisciplinary Clearance: Drive seamless patient preparation by initiating necessary physician consultations and ordering essential pre-operative diagnostics to ensure timely clinical clearance for the scheduled procedure. Comprehensive Patient Education: Serve as the patient's critical point of counsel, delivering thorough education and guidance on the surgical procedure, required preparatory steps, post-operative logistics (timing, transportation), and planning for their inpatient stay or recovery. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
