Talent Acquisition Specialist (Onsite)

Job Overview A Talent Acquisition Specialist for Abbott’s Medical Device division, based in Plano, TX. Responsibilities Collaborate with management to define roles and required qualifications. Craft and execute strategies to attract top talent and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition. Utilize various sourcing channels, including digital platforms and community networks, to find candidates. Evaluate candidates for role suitability and cultural fit based on comprehensive criteria. Manage the interview process, collaborate with the team for assessments, and ensure candidates fulfill role prerequisites. Formulate and negotiate attractive job offers. Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders and deliver exceptional service. Keep management updated throughout the recruitment cycle. Innovate sourcing and evaluation methods to build a diverse candidate pool. Ensure accurate record-keeping within the applicant tracking system. Oversee relationships with external partners for specialized recruitment needs. Aim to enhance recruitment metrics and stakeholder satisfaction. Represent the company at recruitment events. Support company and regulatory standards, including QMS and EMS compliance. Engage in effective communication and teamwork across the organization. Analyze HR data to inform decision-making and recruitment strategies. Undertake recruitment projects and additional tasks as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum 2+ years of agency or in‑house TA experience, full‑cycle recruitment for entry to mid‑level roles. Proven track record of delivering significant candidate pools in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Expertise in creating targeted job postings and leveraging social networks to attract and develop candidates up to the point of offer acceptance. Functional experience in healthcare or adjacent industries and across main functions: commercial, manufacturing, scientific, and corporate. Strong technical aptitude, data analysis, and storytelling skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Full‑cycle recruitment experience in healthcare or related industries. Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $61,300.00 – $122,700.00.
