Marketing Technology & Automation Manager

Robert Half is hiring a Marketing Technology & Automation Manager for one of our major clients in Arizona. This individual will own and optimize the marketing technology ecosystem that supports campaign execution, customer engagement, lead management, lifecycle marketing, analytics, and revenue generation.The ideal candidate combines marketing knowledge with strong technical capabilities and understands how CRM, marketing automation, customer data, integrations, and reporting platforms must work together to create a scalable marketing engine.This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building systems, automating processes, solving data problems, and improving the connection between Marketing and Sales.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the day-to-day administration and optimization of the organization's marketing technology stack.Manage marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, HubSpot, Braze, Iterable, Eloqua, Pardot/Account Engagement, or similar systems.Design and build automated campaigns, nurture programs, triggered communications, customer journeys, and lifecycle workflows.Develop audience segmentation, personalization, lead scoring, and behavioral-trigger strategies.Manage integrations between marketing automation, CRM, analytics, enrichment, and other marketing technologies.Partner with Sales and Revenue Operations to improve lead capture, validation, scoring, routing, lifecycle management, and handoff processes.Maintain clean and reliable data flows between marketing systems.Develop governance standards related to campaign structures, naming conventions, data management, permissions, and platform usage.Evaluate new MarTech platforms and make recommendations based on business requirements, scalability, integration capabilities, and ROI.Troubleshoot platform, integration, automation, and data issues.Partner with marketing teams to enable campaigns and improve execution efficiency.Support campaign attribution and reporting by ensuring accurate tracking and system architecture.Maintain database hygiene, audience quality, consent, and communication preferences.Identify opportunities to incorporate AI, automation, and emerging technologies into marketing workflows.Develop documentation, training, and platform best practices for marketing users.Partner with Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, Analytics, and IT on technology initiatives.
