Specimen Processing Team Lead

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processing Team Lead for its Nashville laboratory facility. The role involves supervising daily operations, leading team processes, preparing specimens for analysis, and ensuring quality standards. The position works Monday–Friday evenings with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily departmental operations and team processes
• Prepare laboratory specimens and oversee routing to prep areas
• Conduct quality assurance checks for efficiency and accuracy
• Investigate and resolve production errors with escalation as needed
• Enforce policies and procedures while driving process improvements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years lab, accessioning, data entry, or production experience
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and pass color blindness test
• Critical thinking and decision-making in fast-paced environments
