Title: Temporary Logistics Administrative Assistance

Type of Placement: Temporary

Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:00pm

Payrate: Depends on experience

Summary:

Detailed oriented Logistics Administrative Associate to support day by day logistics and operations. This role focuses on coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide administrative support for logistics teams.
  • Work with the team to consolidate paperwork packs for export shipments.
  • Update Excel files with new and adjusted information- related to shipments.
  • Follow up on carrier bookings.
  • Assist in the creation of training and support manuals.

Position Qualifications and Skills :

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally in logistics, supply chain, or operations preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Experience with logistics or ERP/WMS systems is a plus but not essential.

Physical Capabilities:

  • Must be able to sit at a desk and computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend and repetitive motion with hands/arms.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
