Job Description
Registered Nurse - MICU

Schedule

4x12 Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, with weekend requirements of every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Patient assignment in a 16-bed MICU.

Requirements

• Must have an active New York state nursing license.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Critical care experience required, specifically with sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, and post cardiac arrest management.
• RN to patient ratio is typically 1:2, with 1:1 ratios based on acuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for critically ill patients in the MICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Document all patient care and assessments in the electronic health record.
