Registered Nurse - ICU

Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiothoracic ICUResponsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill cardiac patients in a high-acuity environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver patient care by completing the nursing process, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting patients and families emotionally and educationally.Develop and document individualized care plans and maintain effective communication regarding patient status and treatment progress.Proficiently manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) with accurate documentation and communication.Ensure compliance with departmental, institutional, and regulatory protocols and education requirements.Qualifications & SkillsDiploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; RN license in New York State.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.At least 6 months RN experience preferred.Ability to perform medium work, including frequent walking, standing, and physical support tasks.Strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety and compliance standards essential for success in this role.
