Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Schedule

12 Hour Shifts, 36 hours guaranteed per week. Every other weekend rotation.

Assignment Details

Length of Contract: 26 weeks, with preference for longer contracts (26-51 weeks). Orientation dates available: 10/05/2026, 10/19/2026, 11/02/2026, 11/16/2026, 11/30/2026.

Requirements

• Kansas or Multistate nursing license
• AHA BLS certification required at time of submission
• 1 year of acute care medical/surgical experience
• ADN or BSN degree
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• No hits allowed on background check

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care in a general medical inpatient setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient management
• Monitor and assess patient needs and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health maintenance
• Document patient care and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
