Job Description
Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) - Evening Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position, working 8-hour evening shifts from 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) will provide quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities include administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring vital signs, and assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities

• Med and treatment administration, including IV medications and wound care.
• Blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration.
• Performing assessments and documenting care in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Assisting with foley/cath care, trach care, ADLs, and vital monitoring.
• Central line cares and chest tube management (RN only).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN or LPN license with BLS certification.
• Prior experience with Point Click Care (PCC) and measuring wounds.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
