Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg

• Deliver patient care to adult patients with common diagnoses such as abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, and post-surgical care
• Utilize specialty equipment including IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
• Float to different units as required
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EPIC

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg

• Active NY RN license verified by NURSYS
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical settings
• Documented travel nursing experience
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
