Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide high-quality care to patients with common diagnoses such as stroke, altered mental status, and COPD.
• Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps and feeding tubes.
• Adapt to floating requirements across different units.

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical environments, specifically with stroke stepdown.
• Active NY RN license and all other active RN licenses verified by NURSYS Report.
• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications (NIH is required; can be obtained before the start).
• Travel experience is mandatory.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
