Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure maximum uptime. Security Administration: Implement network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software, to protect against unauthorized access. User Management: Manage network user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Maintenance & Documentation: Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintain detailed documentation for network configuration and procedures. Support & Training: Resolve network-related issues reported by users and provide technical guidance. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP) and WAN technologies. Hands‑on Experience: Proven experience with routers, switches, and firewalls. Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues. Certifications: Often require certifications such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CompTIA Network+.
