This department provides labor, delivery, and recovery (LDR) services. The OB Triage function isincluded here if performed by staff in this department. Postpartum, infant care, and ambulatory birthing centers are excluded.Adventist Health Ukiah Valley has been deeply connected to the community we serve since 1956. We are also conveniently located just two hours north of San Francisco and 45 minutes from the Pacific Coast.Job Summary:Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): PreferredAcute care facility experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredDepartment Specific License/Certifications:Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP): RequiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) or RQIACLS: RequiredEssential Functions:Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient?s health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient?s situation.Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team.Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care.Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse, LD Experience: 2 years Licenses: RN-CA Certifications: ACLS(Copy Needed)

BLS(Copy Needed)

NRP(Copy Needed) SSN Required DOB Required References: 2 References in the last 12 months Cerner experience required NICU experience is needed. Level 2 NICU experience is required for day shiftt Current RN license BLS, ACLS, NRP LD Reference and SCL within a year RTO Upon Submission Must have SSN & DOB
