Quality Engineer

QE Manual TesterApex Systems is looking for a QA Tester with one of our largest retail clients. This individual will be responsible for managing a with multiple configurations to a retail environment. Responsibilities also include following scripts and maintaining configurations and ensuring things pass QA and escalating issues found to respective teams.Candidates MUST be local to work on-site in Warrendale, PA.Responsibilities:Develop casesIdentify issues/defectsExecute casesReview resultsAssist with follow-up and resolution of action items/issues/decisionsResponsible for collaboration with internal stakeholders to complete Deliverables.1-4 years experienceRequired:-Experience working on POS SystemsRequired Skills: QA manual testing POS experience retail background Basic Qualification: Looking to add a Quality Engineer or "POS QA tester to the team. IV availability: 9/1 2pm-3pm or Tuesday 9/6 12pm-1pm & Wednesday 9/7 11-12:30 This candidate still needs to be local to Pitt and commute to the Warrendale office 5 days a week *Experience working POS is a requirement for this addition to the team. Any experience in the POS area is a plus. Doesn't necessarily need to be QE experience. Manual testing, no automated tools currently - configuration & release management - working in dozen of labs and on lab machines - follow scripts and coordinate with internal teams - working on Windows POS System in a stimulated retail store - detail oriented Ideal candidate may have worked in retail, or as a cashier, in the past, to better understand the work flow. Very repetitive testing. They have had CEs who were too overqualified and left because they were bored. Must be comfortable with some days working completely alone
