Global Research - Industry & Policy Thematics - Executive Director

Job responsibilities Drive research analysis on themes such as supply chain and advanced manufacturing; defense and aerospace; energy independence and resilience; frontier and strategic technologies; and pharmaceutical and health technologies and produce regular research and deep-dive reports Discern and analyze fundamental drivers of relevant industries and supply chains Produce and maintain quantitative indicators tracking progress or lack thereof of IPT industries development Produce high quality commercial research drawing on data, market signals, and sector-specific evidence and factoring in how policy and geopolitics shape sectoral opportunities and risks Project thematic developments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders Collaborate with different lines of research and different business lines across the bank to leverage IPT research Communicate findings through business writing Maintain external relationships and contribute to internal and external client engagements Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 1-5 years’ experience in data analysis Solid written and oral communication skills Intellectual flexibility to work across multiple industries and themes with curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a team player mentality Adaptability and ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience in the financial services industry or IPT-related industry research organization JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
