Receptionist 

Jacksonville, NC | Full-Time | $13.00-$15.00/hour

Horizons East is a locally owned homebuilding company based in Jacksonville, North Carolina, proudly serving Onslow, Carteret, Jones, and Pender counties. Our team includes locals, military spouses, and dedicated professionals who share one mission: to build high-quality homes while strengthening our community.

We're looking for a Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our office. If you're organized, professional, and ready to support a growing homebuilding team -- this is the role for you.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a friendly, professional manner
• Answer and direct phone calls with clarity and professionalism
• Retrieve, sort, and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail
• Keep the office organized, stocked, and clean
• Maintain office inventory; place orders as needed
• Assist with scheduling and tracking service, maintenance, and cleanings for company vehicles
• Handle business errands as required
• Coordinate lunch arrangements for team meetings and company events
• Maintain electronic filing systems -- keep documents organized and up-to-date
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and external contacts
  

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using Microsoft Teams and familiarity with SharePoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional phone presence -- clear, friendly, and articulate
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Solution-oriented, can-do attitude

Pay & Benefits

• $13.00-$15.00 per hour
• Full-Time (40 hours per week), W-2 position
