Your working hours will typically span Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs, ensuring we are responsive to those we serve.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments that identify the specific needs and recovery goals of individuals seeking help with substance use disorders.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices, consistently reviewing and adapting them based on patient progress.

• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to encourage personal insights and behavioral change.

• Lead group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for participants to share their experiences and learn from one another.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care tailored to the complex needs of our patients.

• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, providing immediate support and devising strategies to manage substance-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about the nature of addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge.

• Maintain accurate, concise, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest level of professional integrity.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance collaborative practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A solid understanding of substance use disorders, including familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities and recovery-oriented practices.

• Experience in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions within the context of addiction treatment is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
