Job Summary:
Mindset Mental Support is seeking a compassionate Peer Support Specialist to join our team! As a Peer Support Specialist, you will provide mutual support and guidance to individuals facing challenges, utilizing your personal experience to offer emotional support, share resources, and facilitate recovery-oriented activities. If you are passionate about making a positive impact in your community and possess strong communication skills and empathy, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
• Provide peer support and guidance to individuals facing challenges
• Utilize personal experience to share resources, offer emotional support, and facilitate recovery-oriented activities
• Build trust and rapport with clients to establish a strong support network
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in regular training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
• Peer Support Certificate Required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic and compassionate approach
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with mental health services and resources
What We Offer:
$23 - $25 HOURLY
