Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois SLP license required
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Previous experience providing speech and language services within a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, addressing a variety of communication needs
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress and foster inclusive learning environments
• Maintain thorough and compliant documentation for student progress and service delivery
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Effectively manage a school-based caseload, working onsite for 22.5 hours each week across three regularly scheduled days
