This 366-bed, full-service, multi-specialty hospital provides acute, sub-acute, and outpatient health care to the regional patient population. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support orthopedic surgical coverage across inpatient, operating room, and emergency department settings. On-site resources and support staff are in place to facilitate continuity of quality surgical care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period.

Notable destinations include the John Deere Tractor and Engine Museum, the Grout Museum District, the Waterloo Center for the Arts, and the RiverLoop Amphitheater along the Cedar River. Clinicians will provide 24/7 call coverage and rounding across inpatient, operating room, and emergency department settings at an on-site facility in Waterloo, Iowa. Coverage periods are November 4 at 0700 through November 9 at 0700 and December 23 at 0700 through December 28 at 0700. Clinical responsibilities encompass general orthopedic surgical care consistent with inpatient, OR, and ER settings. Board certification in orthopedic surgery is required, and 4 APPs are available on-site to support clinicians throughout each assigned period.
