Trinity Rehab is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Newton, NC. This position offers the opportunity to work in both skilled nursing setting , providing diverse and rewarding patient care experiences.
The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment programs for individuals experiencing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and patient needs
- Provide therapy services in both skilled and outpatient environments
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFY candidates may be considered)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
