Key Responsibilities Knowledge and understanding of all tasks within a department. Using tools such as a hook, knife and equipment to safely and properly dress carcasses. Communicate with employees and management to quickly and effectively resolve production issues or concerns. If contamination is present, use a hook and knife to remove any visible contamination. Follow proper sanitation procedures NOTE this description is not intended to be all inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal. Minimum Qualifications (Required) Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must be able to work in a humid, hot, wet, slippery, or moving surface at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Preferred Qualifications Previous experience/knowledge of manufacturing environment. Previous heavy machinery experience in manufacturing environment. Previous agriculture production/ beef plant experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Be attentive to detail. Ability to work safely, wear PPE, and follow instructions. Ability to attend work consistently. Always be aware of your surroundings. Follow all safety, food safety, animal welfare and sanitary dress procedures.
